Bilbao
Located at the top of Mount Artxanda and spreading across one of its green hillsides, this playground has been conceived as a project that integrates with its natural surroundings, taking advantage of the terrain's natural slopes to create a playful and highly inclusive space. A place designed for the people of Bilbao to reconnect with nature.
The design begins with a gently winding ramp that meanders down the hillside, offering an accessible and comfortable path for all users. Along this route, various play opportunities emerge: rope and robinia structures, horseshoe-shaped horizontal walkways from which slides descend along the slope, and as the crown jewel, an impressive double tower clad in wood, launching extremely tall slides aimed at the bravest users.
The playground is completed with spring riders, multi-swings with all kinds of seats, and five-meter-wide slides that allow simultaneous use, encouraging shared play.
